More Sunny Skies Upon Us

by | Nov 13, 2015

Today At The Marina:

Another day with lots of sun, highs will be in the mid to upper 60’s. The wind will be out of the West between 10 and 15 MPH. We will have clear skies tonight with lows in the mid 40’s, with the winds remaining out of the West between 10 and 15 MPH. It is looking like we will have a few days with out any rain.

Offshore:

The offshore forecast for today is not looking to pretty for today, winds will be West to Northwest between 20 and 30 KT. These high winds will mix up the seas to between 5 and 8 feet. The last time we had any boats offshore they returned with some nice Mahi, Wahoo, and Yellowfin Tuna. Bottom fishing has continued to do very well with very nice hauls of Barrel Fish, Tile Fish, Black Sea Bass, and Black Bellied Rose Fish.

Inshore:

The inshore bite remains slow, with only a handful of Bluefish being caught on spoons. We are awaiting the potential arrival of Rockfish. Hopefully they make their way to us and stay within 3 miles.

Rudee Inlet:

The Rudee Inlet bite is dominated by Speckled Trout. There is a lot of action lately but not too many of them have been keepers, the majority of them have been throw backs. They seem to be biting best on chartreuse gulps on a light jig head.
