18th CITATIONS DOLPHIN: 25lbs 1oz caught by Lou Curcio of Ruther Glen, VA at the Norfolk Canyon RED DRUM: 46 inches caught and released by Jacob Myers of Wichita Falls on the Sea Witch at Sandridge DOLPHIN: 32lbs caught by Michael Irby of Virginia Beach at the Fingers The first inshore trip of the day has come in and they had some great sized inshore fish. They had some Cobia, Spades, and Amber Jacks.
The offshore boats are starting to come back. The early ones have filled up the racks with Dolphin. Check out these Gaffers!!
The 1/2 day nearshore boats are back! A nice variety of fishing ranging from spadefish, spanish mackeral, and taylor bluefish! A great trip that allowed some fishing for everyone involved. For only being out there for four hours this trip was able to bring in 21 fish! That is a fish every 11 minutes! Way to go guys!
We had another fishing story today!! One of the younger boys fought a Red Drum for 45 minutes in order to bring him. The hard work paid off, because the fish ended up being a citation at 46 inches. This was his first citation. This boy has definitely proved himself to be quite the dedicated angler!! Way to go Jacob!!
The next of out offshore boats came in. They also had quite a catch of Dolphin, Tuna, and King Mackerel. While the Tuna was not a citation, it certainly held its own on the docks today. Way to go guys, another great catch!!!
