CITATIONS: SAILFISH: caught and released by Chrissy Peele of Virginia Beach, VA on the BACKLASH DOLPHIN: 27 lbs. 4 oz. caught by Michael A. Bidus of Suffolk, VA WHITE MARLIN: caught and released by Scott Adkins of Virginia Beach, VA DOLPHIN: 33 lbs. caught by Tony Fairchild of Virginia Beach, VA DOLPHIN AND MORE DOLPHIN! The dolphins really were all over today. A few citations all the way up to 33 lbs! Several were also in the 22 lbs. range so just a few lbs shy of that 25lbs. citation weight. The charters had a great time though with tons of action, lots of meat brought back to the dock, and a nice day on the water overall. The water was pretty calm, and the air temperature remained a little less than normal so it offered a cool breeze to accompany the active fishing. Wahoo also graced the dock today offering a break in the dolphin spreads today. There were also several reports of sailfish, white marlin and blue marlin. Although the sailfish was the only that was landed, that still will make a dent in the Virginia Beach Marlin Invitational Tournament that is taking place. Right now can be one of the best times for fishing since we are getting such a huge variety of fish; tuna, dolphin, marlin, and wahoo! INSHORE
trips are doing well with the bluefish, and spanish mackeral. The inshore trips
are offering half day and full day inshore trips and are able to accommodate up
to 6 people and are a great time for the first time angler, young kids and
families, or those who just don't have a full day to commit to fishing. Stop by
or give us a call for more information, or check our the charter information
