What a great day to be offshore! Not only was the temperature right, but the calmer winds allowed the charters to thourghally enjoy their trips. AND ENJOY THEY DID! We had the pleasure of taking out a great group of guys who work at a local company (not sure if they want me to say their company name or not....) :). They went offshore, and pulled off some AMAZING FEATS! Not only did they have pull in a SAILFISH, a blue marlin, and a white marlin both broke off! The sail was the first of the year up here, as were the marlin! Normally the marlin tend to show up here in late July, and stick around until the end of the season in early to mid October. So they are definitely ahead of schedule. They also landed yellowfin, and dolphin to add some meat fish to the mix and create a nice dinner plate for the guys! They all did awesome, and we really enjoyed working with them!

I spoke with several of my Captains who are in Carolina right now, and they are making arrangements to come back to VB right now because the fishing is doing SO WELL, AND ONLY GETTING BETTER!!! So while you still have options for charter days get moving, and book NOW!!!

The inshore trips did pretty well with spadefish, and not to mention these are so GREAT tasting fish. The spadefish definitely took their time getting here this year (normally they make their appearance in mid-May) but we are glad we waited for their showing. The fish are coming in nice and strong and giving the charters tons of action and a nice rack of fish to show on the dock.
