Rudee Inlet:

There has been a steady Flounder bite in recent days, with a few keepers starting to make an appearance. Baits used for Flounder have been Gulp on a jig head or live minnows. The Spot and Croaker have started to make their appearance  is a great sign that we will see them in good numbers this year, they can be caught on artificial or live blood worms as well as squid. There are still some Bluefish being caught inside the inlet though the bite has seemed to slow up.There are still reports of some Speckled Trout and Puppy Drum being caught as well. Cut Finger Mullet on the bottom has been a great universal bait.

Inshore:

The Spanish Mackerel are starting to make their way off our coastline. We have also seen some catches of Bluefish. Today was the opening day for Cobia and we have received some reports of some being caught and many spotted. Some anglers have also enjoyed catching and releasing some small sharks. On the nearshore trips we have seen a nice class of Spadefish hitting the docks.

The High Hopes is fishing right now and has already sent us a picture of a nice Cobia they caught.

Offshore:

TUNA!!!!!!TUNA!!!!!!TUNA!!!!!!

The offshore boats today have all returned to the docks early with limits of Tuna! The Backlash was the first to hit the docks and put a nice class of Yellowfin Tuna on the racks between 40 and 60 pounds being the average. We have already heard from the WaveRunner as well and they are just outside with their limit of Yellowfin as well. There has also been several nice catches of Mahi in recent days!
