A Rainy Afternoon

Rudee Inlet:

The Flounder bite is continuing to heat up in recent days, with rumors of some keepers starting to bite. Anglers looking to target Flounder have been using the Chartreuse Gulp on a light jig head or live minnows. There are still some Puppy Drum biting on cut Finger Mullet. There are some Croaker and Sport starting to move in hitting on squid and artificial bloodworms, though the bite has been slow today.

Inshore:

Inshore trips are targeting Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish with a handful being caught. Some days boats have been running out and catching some nice Spadefish. There are some Cobia that are being spotted right off our coast, but they can not be kept until June 1st.

Offshore:

Offshore boats have had some great success with a nice class of Mahi being caught, with some Yellowfin Tuna in the mix of things. The White and Blue Marlin bite continues to pick up with each passing day, we had a Blue Marlin release just yesterday.
