Today At The Marina:

Today we are lucky to have lots of sun shining down. It will be a little warmer today with highs in the mid 60’s. The winds will change from time to time out of various directions between 5 and 10 MPH. Tonight will be partly cloudy with lows in the upper 40’s. Winds will continue to be light and variable.

Inshore:

The inshore bite remains slow with only a handful of Bluefish being caught, along with a few Red Drum.

We did have a little excitement inshore recently with one of our transient commercial boats. While checking his nets he was in for a huge surprise while fishing a few miles off of Sandbridge beach. Check out the article by clicking HERE!

Offshore:

The offshore bite is still going strong with some nice Yellowfin Tuna being caught, as well as nice hauls of Blackfin Tuna in the mix as reports show. Lately is has seemed the Mahi bite has came to a crawl, with only a few being caught. There are still a few lingering Wahoo in the mix as well. Deep drop trips are still being productive with some nice Black Sea Bass being caught a well as: Tilefish, Barrel Fish, and Black Bellied Rose Fish. Rudee Inlet:

Rudee Inlet is still producing some nice Speckled Trout action, though most have been throw backs, there has been some really nice keepers in the mix, as well as a few Puppy Drum. The Trout seem to be hitting on both the White and Chartreuse Gulp on a light jig head. The Puppy Drum have been hitting on cut baits. Be sure to stop in the store for all your Rudee Inlet needs, or to get yourself into some VBFC apparel. Check out what we have by clicking HERE and browsing our new online store!
