Another Dreary Day

Today At The Marina:

Today is another dreary day here in Virginia Beach and has us really wishing for the summer sunshine! The winds are howling and the seas are rough and unfortunately it looks like it will be this way for a few more days possibly.

Offshore:

All of our boats are sitting dockside today with conditions being bad but we remain hopeful that the bite offshore will still be there when this weather passes! Before the weather hit (again) there was a great Wahoo bite along with some Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi and even reports of some Marlin and Sailfish still hanging around the area.

Inshore:

Our all-day inshore trips are currently targeting Black Seabass, Trigger Fish, and the occasional Flounder. There have been a few reports of Bluefish but those seem to be making their way out!

Rudee Inlet:

The Speckled Trout seem to have taken up residence in Rudee Inlet as of late! While many are too small to keep, there are loads being caught and there have been a few reports of some nice sized keepers. The Speckled Trout are biting best on the chartreuse (bright yellow) Gulp on a light jighead.
