Inshore Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish

by | Jul 6, 2015

Offshore:

Although we did not have any of our fleet scheduled to go fishing offshore today, the bite is still hot! The offshore catch consists of Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Mahi, Tuna, and some Wahoo.  There is no better time than now to book an offshore charter! We did have a private boat pull up with a load of Blueline Tilefish and Sea Bass! If trolling doesn’t satisfy your fishing experience deep-dropping is always a fun option!

Inshore:

The Rebel went out today on a half day inshore trip and came back with a nice catch of Spanish Mackerel and Taylor Bluefish. The inshore bite for both of these species of fish has been awesome. The Spanish Mackerel are being found in the 2-3lb. range.

Rudee Inlet:

There are Flounder being caught inside the inlet with a few keepers here and there. There are also some Croakers, Spot, and Bluefish being caught as well. The most popular bait being used is squid, bloodworms, live minnows, and Gulp.
