Anglers fishing inside Rudee Inlet have had some luck catching some Speckled Trout, Puppy Drum, and Bluefish. Most anglers have been using Gulp on a jig head or a MirrOLure. Though you may also have some luck with a hit on cut bait.
Inshore:
There is not much to be caught along our coast right now. Some boats have left the marina and went way up into the bay and have had some luck catching some Rockfish. Those these trips do not depart from our marina. We have been receiving a bunch of calls about the Rockfish bite, and as of right now it is non existent outside of Rudee Inlet. We will be sure to let everyone know if and or when this changes.
Offshore:
The last time we had boats head out offshore, they returned to the docks with a few Mahi as well as some nice Wahoo. Deep Drop fishing is productive in the Norfolk Canyon year round. We have had some nice Black Sea Bass brough in in recent days.
