More Mahi, Tuna To Follow

by | May 30, 2017

Rudee Inlet:

The Rudee Inlet Flounder bite is continuing to heat up with more keepers starting to bite, though there are more throw backs. Anglers on the hunt for flounder are best to use the chartreuse gulps on a jig head or live minnows. There are still some nice Puppy Drum being caught when you can find them they have continued to hit on cut Finger Mullet. The Speckled Trout bite has really dropped off, as we have not heard of any biting recently. The Croaker and Spot are starting to move in hitting on artificial bloodworms and cut squid.

Inshore:

The Inshore boats are still trolling for Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish, with a few starting to be caught. On the nearshore trips some boats have been running out and returning with some nice Spadefish. Dont forget Cobia season opens on June one and we have already been hearing about them showing up just outside of Rudee.

Offshore:

The offshore boats have been catching some beautiful gaffer Mahi, and there are starting to be a handful of Tuna bites in the mix of things. Summer is finally here so be sure to give us a call so we can get you out on the water Fishing!
