Spanish Mackerel & Bluefish

by | Jul 16, 2015

Inshore:

Even with the cloudy skies and higher winds the inshore bite was still on. We had some really nice catches of Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish. Tomorrow should be a little more on the nicer weather side with sunshine and a mix of clouds from time to time. We have a morning inshore trip on the books so be sure to check back with us around noon to see how the fishing went!

Offshore:

Sadly today we did  not have any boats fishing offshore. Anglers would have been looking at North East winds offshore as well as possibly running into a thunderstorm or two. But offshore fishing these past few days as been a steady bite of Mahi, with a few various types of Tunas hitting in the mix. There has also been a strong appearance of various species of sharks being caught and released.  Tomorrow morning several boats from the fleet will be heading out into the deep water. They should be back to the docks between 5 and 6 so be sure to check back in with us to see the latest offshore catch!
